Wrong. He was banned and some asked that he be allowed back and he was until he got banned again. It was not from creating a new account.

Big change from a week ago when on a facebook post you said VJ was for losers. Why the change of mind now?

Actually, this is incorrect. You may think that your view about what happened is correct but it is not. Eric was not allowed back because some people asked if he could stay and then got banned again. Eric was permanently banned because of repeated TOS violations. After that he kept creating new accounts and rejoining, and each and every time we were able to verify that the account was another new Eric account it too was banned. That went on for years. Some times it took longer than others to make that determination, but at no time was he given a reprieve prior to the time to which I refer. No one knew for quite some time that he was, in fact, back on VJ. A few people suspected but when the information became public, he had already been here for quite a while, and had in fact proven he could be a positive and responsible participant. Even the full mod team was not aware he was back until the time the general membership knew.

Your second comment is unhelpful. If the comment was made on Facebook, then please take up that discussion on Facebook rather than trying to create unnecessary controversy on this site.

As for the post it is a legitimate question. He bashes this site repeatedly elsewhere and I being a long time member of this site in good standing I am curious why he wants to be here when he says denigrating things about the site.

That happened quite some time AFTER Eric had returned. Eric had already been back for quite a few months before Charles even knew he was back. Yes, the information eventually became public and we confirmed that he had been allowed back, but Eric had already been back on VJ for quite some time before any of that happened.

As I said before, raise that question on the site where he made the statement. If you are on facebook ask him there. Discussing it here is like two people discussing what happened at a luncheon they both attended off-site where one made a comment to which the other took exception. Trying to import the 'drama' to VJ is not a constructive activity.

If I may point out, even on VJ itself some of our members have made negative comments about VJ even to the point that they no longer wanted to remain members, and then later came back and posted something that either contradicted their original comments or indicated that they had changed their minds. Why try to turn this into something bigger than it is?

LOL I actually feel for the Mods in here sometimes. It's like herding cats. It seems like every time the interact it cause about 5 unintended reactions. One thing I learned about leadership early on, if you try to make everyone happy, you gonna piss off everyone.

We had an employee satisfaction survey of my people one time. 75% were happy and thought we did a good job and were very satisfied. My boss, who was an idiot, thought we needed to do something right away. I finally convinced her that was pretty darn good. Anytime she stuck her fingers in it went south.
