Speaking of talking funny, here's the first paragraph of an article I ran across this morning on LinkedIn.

Our customers feel and align their perceptions to areas based on a continual experience rather than a single time based intervention. Any experience has to be a smooth transitory curve that needs to align with the majority of expectations from a customer. Any misalignment on these expectations causes reverberations on the 'perceptive realisations' of our customers.

I get what the author is trying to say but I hate it when parsing language gives me a headache.

I would not do business with such a person . I bet they are they kind of business who spends hundreds of hours on missions statements and few hours putting hands on figuring out problems

We have a local hospital that prides itself on and trains it's employees on it's mission statement, I found it ironic hanging in it's nasty cafeteria, Dishes pilled high and falling of the dirty tray conveyor, a build your own sandwich bar that had bread in it's wrapper so that everyone had to reach their had in to get a piece. I mean there were 15 very obvious bad things,. I guess management was in a meeting making missions statements.

I guess I am old school management, you find good people, give them them freedom to lead, hold them responsible for the Macros, and get out of thier way. Boots on the ground. Nothing gets done in meetings and with 70 page procedures no one has time to read.

I have a long history of fighting for equal opportunity in Organizations, that should count for something.

I think being a Mod would mean you can't really participate here Like I like to do, plus I am too much of a rebel.

Think about. Say Mr. Big Dog and I got in to a heated debate. emotions ran a little high, and then he came back with something really really out of line How could I then turn around and take Mod action, without starting a revolt.

Familiarity breeds contempt when you have to crack down on a friend.
