Lose of Income How Much for Expedite?

I just received notification from the government that between March 2010 and April 2014, I have been overpaid in retirement benefits in the amount of $35,000 dollars :girlwerewolf2xn: which they intend to start recouping immediately beginning July 2014. That will be a lose of income monthly in the amount of over $1,000. Is this a reason for a request for expedite. In addition to this the IRS also wants their cut. :girlwerewolf2xn: What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for your input.

No reason for expedite. Despite your loss of income, you will still need to meet the income requirements for supporting your fiancée.

Doesn't seem to be a reason to file as it would probably only fall under the category of severe financial distress. Seeing as how you are the petitioner and you will have to prove you can take care of yourself and your fiance financially so that she/he won't be a burden on the US system, it may even be viewed as a negative mark if you request something like that. My guess is most likely it would just be denied, though. Sorry to hear that! Good luck!

Okay thanks guys. I was just wondering. Even with the loss, I am still able to support my fiancee. Not rich by any means, but solvent.
