feeling frustrated with process

I know everything is streamlined and at least we are together through this.org but the length of time between each step pushes the limits of patience. We were married march 14th. As soon as we had marriage certificate and sufficient evidence we immediately sent adjustment of status, work,parole papers. I checked double check triple checked and even sent extra copies with packets. 6 Weeks later we get rfe for missing papers resent them did bio appointment within months then found out we were sent to Nebraska service center. He's been lines up for work and can't start with possibility the position is going to be filled. We wanted to return to England on October first for a huge family and friend blessing with about 500 guest. Can't proceed with plans until we.kn.own he can return home. I don't understand the waiting periods. I'd thought with all the people and process to get us here there couldn't be much more background checks to be had and it would be my,g simpler!

There was no need to wait to file for "sufficient evidence." An AOS from K-1 does not require proof of a bona fide marriage. I hope you weren't waiting for that.

The EAD and AP takes 90 days to be approved. If you had an RFE then it would be paused during that time.

Your timelines says that your NOA1 from AOS is dated 4/9. So you can expect the EAD and AP around July, plus add in the time that the RFE was pending. Not much longer to wait now. Good luck.

Thank you. Trying to be understanding and patient with the process. I couldn't be more grateful that we can go through this together. We have no reason to believe there's any issues. When you spend so much time apart you talk about your dreams and go beyond the now moment to help you get through the process. When you have the ability to make things real the feeling of accomplishment sets on. Right now things are on hold again until those rbi.gd are done. It's a short wait but with all the cost of immigration, a new home and new family with one income it plays a roll on patience. We'll get through it..just frustrated.
