I am a UKC with a USC wife. I'm in the process of gathering my documentation for my visa interview at the embassy.

I have applied for my police certificate and it turns out that it's not clean! This was a surprise even to me! The details are:

Offence: Travelling on Railway Without paying Fare
Court: ***** Magistrates
Disposal: It just lists the fines which add up to nearly 600 GBP!

I was caught without a ticket at the end of my journey on a train. They agreed they would send me a fine in the post and I didn't think much else of it until now. I didn't ever get the fine in the post, and have moved multiple times since then!

I have contacted the British Transport Police who have told me they have no issue with me and that I should contact the train operator. I have contacted them also, but have not heard anything yet.

Is this going to affect my application during my interview? I have my medical next week and that's the final step of the process for me before my interview.

Thanks!
