There is a lot of slavery in the south asian subcontinent. It's not just Hindus in Pakistan or Dalits in India, it's way way way more widespread than that.

I understand that your concern is aimed at a gay person not being able to buy a wedding cake rather than the slave trade that is active in africa and asia by Islamic masters.. I guess the fact of a 14 year old girl being gang raped for hours on end every night when ever her Islamic master wishes does not seem to even shed a tear with some people. There is concern on my part about this practice.(is it wrong to be a concern) Perhaps we can make the world a little bit more aware of this and express outrage. The same outrage you have about gay people not being able to buy a cake. It is almost on the same level of horror but I guess your cause is a bit more important than the rape of a 12 or 14 year old. I understand that. Over the next two years it (the gay thing) will be one of the main focal points of the democratic party. There have been other postings about rape in India you seem to be fine with that being posted.here. Go ahead with your outrage over this practice being brought to light on this forum.by myself and others. I understand.... Sometimes a person has to stand by their religion

I had some as neighbors and they thought my property was a place to throw yard trash and for their dog to poop

In the Philippines they are rude they are pushy, rude, and arrogant

Not saying all re just the ones i encountered

Is there a difference between bias and don't care for ?

Isn't it ironic you only seem to be concerned with slavery that doesn't involve white people? In your world, you're only concerned with black people and muslims. Funny thing about that, I threw my hat in the ring a while ago. But to be honest, if they made me a mod, it might makes things worse for the usual suspects.

I lived in Pakistan...........saw what she was talking about I listened thinking ok someone is going to do something until he said this sounds Islamic .......and until she said no Muslim or their family is in that position........Islam has not one thing to do with this other than people that are doing it happen to be Muslim.......this is the case of the haves and the haves not........anytime anyone no matter the religion gets into debt with one of these people their families for generations are held and worked ......its sickening really......one women i spoke to stated she prayed for all boys until she found that one of her sons had been used in the same manor as the girls........does that have anything to do with Islam no it does not......it has to do with ruthless lawless crewel people that take advantage of poor people to advance their income from the farms or the brick factories for little or no money going out

The problem with that is who you think are the usual suspects depends on which side of fence you sit on. The people you usually agree with can be every bit as nasty and judgmental as the people I usually agree with

The problem with that is who you think are the usual suspects depends on which side of fence you sit on. The people you usually agree with can be every bit as nasty and judgmental as the people I usually agree with

Depends on the context of the conversation.

I've gotten into rows with those who I usually agree with. The difference is they attack my stance, not me personally. It never gets racial or religious. And that's fine because everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Yes but, those you usually agree with are very quick to get personal and degrade those they rarely agree with, then in the next breath talk about civility or feign some moral outrage . To be clear I am not talking about you, that is why i said you would be a good mod, cause you never or almost never respond in anger, even though you do threaten to cut me on a regular basis

It's not easy. There have been some posts where I wanted to reach through the screen, but I keep it in check, mainly because I don't want to be labeled as an angry black man. Jinx kind of rolled into that stereotype, even though I tried hard as hell to keep him out of it.
