You need to follow the instructions on the notice. You need to wait for the letter.

No one here can tell you what is no the notice without reading it.

Your profile says you filed for a K-1 and your service center is Texas. You are posting in the K-1 forum, but you are asking about an RFE for an I-130 (so says your subject title), which is not used for someone filing for a K-1. So, I am a little confused. What are you filing for, and what form did you file and get an RFE for?

Hello guys, i am still pretty new to this page. I found it helpful but i am still confused on how to use it. You guys can please put me through please. Thanks

Why are you filling out the form I-130? that is not part of the I-129f petition for or the K1 fiancé(e) visa at all.

Can you please tell us what you have filed for? We can help then.

Please fill in your timeline. It will be easier for everyone to help you if we can see what you have filed for and when you filed it.

Hello guys, my wife got the notice in the mail that the i130 has been reviewed and we have not submitted enough evidence and that we should send recent passport photographs and the passport photos must have some requirements stipulated in the letter. Is the passport photographs the evidence needed for them to proceed or we need to do something more? I am pretty confused. They actually received the i130 application March 3rd, 2014.

Also, we filed K1 visa too as she was told that she can do so when she called the immigration office making enquiries about everything. She did filed all the documents regarding the i129f and we received it march 24th as updated on their website.

Can someone please shed more lights to this?

Before we begin with what is a major problem, can you please tell us if you are currently engaged or married? And is your spouse in the U.S. right now?

Okay so the I129F is for an alien fiancé, this K1 visa is only for non-married but engaged couples.

You should not have applied for the petition form for an alien fiancé because you are not eligible; you are already married. You need to cancel this application ASAP.

As for the I130, what evidence of your marriage did you supply? Please read the guides for the I130: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

The passport photo should have been 1 of you, and 1 of your united states citizen spouse. But there is a lot more evidence and forms you should have sent; please read the guides and tell us what you sent? That way we can help you!

Thanks for your response. We actually did the i130 first but along the line when my wife was making more enquiries calling them cos she was so eager for me to come home. She was told while on the phone with the immigration staff that she can as well file the i129f which might be faster before the i130 is out. She made them know that we are already married and they never mentioned anything like its only meant for non-married people. Regarding the i130, she submitted all the necessary documents as stipulated including the passport photographs but i think we just submitted a random passport photographs and not the ones with the requirements mentioned. She is calling them this morning when she wake up to make more enquiries and i also told her to ask about the i129f too.

So she is trying for the K-3 which 99% chance will not happen. They will process the I-130 for the CR-1 visa and close the K-3 visa.

The passport photos have to meet specific requirements as to size, margins, etc. I am guessing the ones you sent weren't correct. She should have also sent evidence of an ongoing relationship with the petition. sounds like she either did not or did not send enough.

The I-129F is also used for a spouse when petitioning for a K-3 spousal visa. They are rarely issued anymore though.

OP> Since you have filed both the I-130 and I-129F for a K-3 visa, I will move your post to the K-3 forum. However, you should research about the K-3 so you can see that they are not issued much anymore. You will most likely have the I-129F closed and then proceed with the I-130 for a CR-1 visa.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to K-3 Process - OP is married and has filed both the I-130 and I-129F ~
