You each need to write a letter of intent to marry. I don't know about getting them notorized and translated, but we are going through Morocco, so our case may be different. In our case, my fiance and I each used the sample letter supplied here in the guides, in English. We did not have it translated or notorized, and we were approved by USCIS.

Can I sing this letter and scan it. I mean can my fiance put in aplication form the scaned copy of my letter of intention with my signature, or it should be the original one? I mean should i send the original one by FedEx or DHl to my fiance? My fiance already wrote this letter from him and on behalf of name as well and even notorized it. So what should we do?

Original statements (from both the US Citizen and foreign fiance) certifying an intent to marry within 90 days of entering the US on a valid K-1. (see example)

There should be two letters of intent one from you and one from your fiancée, no need to have either one notarized but both should be in english. Check the guides the is an example there that we used and you can also. Read and follow the guides and you can't go wrong.

The following is what most if not all of the VJr's use as the letter of intent.

It does not need to be notarized.

you have to write one and sign it.

your fiancée needs to write one and sign it.

NO, you cannot both sign the same one

My suggestion to you is do as we did we joined VJ 9 months before filing and read the guides followed the guides and in less than 3 month are at the consulate. Your present question and replies show that you aren't prepared for the trip that is ahead but the good thing is that there are good people here that will help you as long as you are willing to help yoursevles.

PS each person that has replied to you has already done what you are asking since they all have there NOA-1 so they can't be wrong can they.

OK,

So it means I need to type this letter:

"Fiance Letter of Intent

(my address)

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

(USCIS service center address)

(date mm-dd-yyyy)

Dear Sir or Madam:

I, (beneficiary’s name) , do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry (petitioner’s name), and intend to do so within 90 days of my arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

Yours truly,

(My signature)

( print name)"

and when the petition will be approved I will type the new letter (as well as my US fiance) and will put the address of US Embassy in my home country and will take these letters with me to interview. Am i right?

and now i need to send the iriginal letter... no scaned copies of my letter of intention?

Thank you in advance

Yes, you need to type the letter and sign it and send it to your fiancée to be added to the I-129F package being sent to the visa centre.

Your fiancée in America also has to type the letter and sign his/hers and place it with yours in the I-129F package.

All the best on your trip.

Ron

Hi! I just filed our paperwork today. My understanding is that both people must submitt an intentions to marry letter, thats what we did. Again, I just mailed our package today and have not had any feedback from the TSC, but I faxed the forms to my fiance. I mailed them to him a month ago and it still hadn't arrived. So I faxed the intent to marry letter for him to sign and the G-325 Form, but I included out fax transmission slips and receipt as proof that a fax was sent and I didn't just sign his name. Hope it helps.

PLEASE HELP!!! I am confused... some people say that only my fiance (US citizen) signs an intentions paper to marry within 90 days of my arrival in the US. But some people say that I need sign the same paper here in Kazakhstan, after i need to notorize it, to translate it, notorize the translation and send it to my fiance to US where he will submit it with all petition.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
