Hello everyone,

I am willing to know some information about sponsorship. My husband and I live at my mom-in-law house. And my husband is the petitioner for me and is that possible for my husband to include my mom- in- law income as household member's income in order to meet income requirements ? If it works, what kinds of documents are supposed to submit as proof of residency and proof of relationship ?

Thank you

Your spouse needs to fill and sign I-864, no matter what his income is. If he wants to use his mom income then she and your husband need to fill and sign I-864A form. He doesn't need to provide proof of relationship but proof of household is needed. Tax transcripts show same residential address, which are a good help.

Thank you very much NancyNguyen.

The thing is we all are planning to move out next week and all the tax transcripts show the same address but not the new address we will move out. So what else should I use to prove as same household or same new address ?
