Work as usual . . . driving to a new project location over in east Ft. Worth near the Airport. Hope the icy bridges are going to be gentle with me today . . . the roads are fairly clear otherwise.

Looks like they have some nice alcohol free drinks and also tiramisu! yum! :)

It's cold here but somehow saying it's 25 doesn't sound as cold as people saying it's -7. But, for where I live in california, 25 is pretty cold. I can't remember it getting too much colder than that. There's a chance of rain tonight and it would be neat if we got some snow but I doubt we will. Every few years the snow level will drop to about 1500 feet and the surrounding hills/mountains will get a dusting, but down at my level, which is around 450 feet, we rarely get any. I think it's snowed here at my ground level maybe 4 times in my life.

My honey is still stuck in Alexandria though he was supposed to leave monday evening. He managed to get online at about 430 am his time today (6:30 pm for me last night) and tell me how much he missed being home and talking with me at night. :luv:

Oh well.. looks like another boring day at work for me.

And now it's tiime to get on my torture machine for the day. :D

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

-Qur'an, Al-Infitar, Surah 82:1-5

hubby is gone to Vancouver, WA this week and will probably be a wee bit grumpy traveling to the West Coast and back really sucks, which is one reason for tossing around moving mid-country - but then i would wind up in Kansas (yeah - sorry charles, no freakin way unless Emerson comes up again :innocent: )

the weather as been crazy - it will be 80 here again today. its almost like winter has been skipped for us, only a few days around 50 then right back up - very odd for Tampa (will typically stay between 40-55 throughout winter).

well at any rate - my pink grapefruit tree is lovin it! (an so am i since i started eating them - perfect fruit this year!!!)

Sorry, MK, had to send it your way . . . we were tired of getting it in Dallas . . . and the same thing happened here on Friday . . . 70 in the afternoon and while I drove home in the freezing rain with the really strong winds it was dropping into the 40s . . . of course, today it is in the 20s, LOL!!! It will pass soon!

Just wondering about the place in Louisiana where the bragging that "it's 70 today" was making me laugh . . . going to check the weather over there.

Oops!!! well, it's not in the 70s anymore . . . but no freezing rain it seems . . . just 70% chance of precipitation in Baton Rouge with temp hovering around 40/30. Hi, Noura!!

I have a Dr. appt today with my OB and I am sooo scared of getting on that scale  Last time I made the nurse laugh so hard. She said "Ok Massouna get on the scale" and I sighed real deeply. So she said "What's wrong ?" and I said "Well I feel like I am on the Biggest Loser .. I get weighed every month but instead of it going down it keeps going up and up" I know it's baby ... but I was so skinny before (if you were in the yahoo group you should remember what I look like) and now I feel like a fatty. Wish me luck :(
