Hi Everyone -

I was wondering if anyone else had sent their packet 3 in November? I sent mine into the Montreal consulate and called and they said it arrived Nov. 7th. I noticed that a lot of the October 23-26 applicants had their interview dates scheduled and was wondering if anyone around the beginning of November had their interviews scheduled yet.

We returned our packet 3 forms on Nov 6 and as of yet heard nothing regarding an interview. I emailed before Christmas and they said hopefully we would have an interview in February but as of yet we have not received a letter indicating an actual interview date.

They received my checklist on Oct. 17 and our interview is scheduled for Feb. 7. That's just short of 4 months. If they keep at the same rate (hopefully they'll speed it up a little) yours will probably be in late Feb. or early March.

That sounds like typical Montreal. There is a Montreal waiting room and time-to-interview thread in the Canada forum that might shed some more light for you. Good luck!

I didn't want to start a new thread about this, but will Montreal tell you if they received your petition from NVC if you only have your CIS#? I've been trying to get through to NVC all day. I'll try again later tonight. Just curious...

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Montreal requires the case number assigned by the NVC.
