  1. 1. Is rape wrong?

    • Yes, usually. Except when the man doing the raping is the strongest and most intelligent man on earth. Then he's doing our species a favor.

    • Yes, always. The strongest and most intelligent man on earth probably has no problem getting consensual sex.

That's how I feel about their opinion, so we're at an impasse.

You may think so, but as the opinion of experts is on one side, the the biased opinion of a layman on the other, you would be wrong.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Isn't even consensual sex, at least between a man and woman, to some extent submissive with slight overtones of power?

How? Do care how the person you are penetrating feels or is your attitude as long as I get my load out, I don't give a toss?

That's not what I'm saying at all. I would elaborate but I don't think you care want I think as much as what you think I mean.

Scientists are still asking that question, and will continue for a long time. Philosophically speaking however, if you believe in one single creator, one might say that the initial particle was always there. The question is akin to asking where god came from. Who or what was before god? If you can answer that, you can easily expand and consider the singularity has always existed, or rather, before the expansion began there was no 'before' because time began with the singularity.

Schrodinger's cat...

I find the whole concept of forever and infinity mind boggling. The creation of the universe is mind boggling whether you believe in God or not. All the matter in the universe was created at that moment, probably from an object the size of a marble. The Inflation theory blows my mind. It all happened in a trillionth of second and bang, here we are. The concept that there was a time when there was nothing also is beyond my comprehension. How could there be nothing and the universe expanded into it? Where did that first particle several trillionths smaller than the smallest part of an atom come from, and why did it do what it did, since there was nothing to act on it to make it do something. If there was nothing, no space, no dimensions, where was this particle? If you could sit at the front edge of the universe as it is expanding today, what would you see since it's expanding into an area that doesn't exist? And it will continue expanding into this nothingness forever. Absolutely mind boggling. How did time begin? How could there be nothing before the expansion? How can the question be answered?

Now we can ask the same questions about God. If you believe, then he was there before the inflation. He created the particle that inflated. What did he do before that? Why did he create the universe? I'm using he because I'm a simple minded human and can't think outside of the three dimensions that I know. Is there a 4th dimension that some day we will evolve into and be able to see. Would God be an entity? What is an entity? This staggers my imagination. Absolutely fascinating. Maybe there is no reality. Maybe we don't exist. If you don't reply, I'll assume you don't exist and I'll question whether I do. Then I'll read some of the posts in this forum and think it must be just a big acid trip.

Yeah it is.. The conclusion is pretty amazing: It must be possible for something to come from nothing.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

Where did God come from and how could a God that loves unconditional sentence you to roast in torment for ever , if you gave into things you are genetically programmed to do

How could millions and million of people raised to believe in other religions be going to hell, because they were raised to believe just as I was

3 things I could never get past

1. The where did God come from is another mind boggling question too, along with some of the things I brought up in the post above. I think the roasting is for the most serious offenders, not for someone who snapped their carrot looking at a Penthouse. I'm thinking the evil people, Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Stalin, Kim Il-Sung, Kim Jong-il, maybe the fat one that took over recently, etc. Maybe Bush and Obama.

2. According to your faith, let it be done to you. I think you will be judged according to how you lived and according to what you know or should know. A native from an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon isn't going to be judged the same as the President of the US or China.
