Is that it? - 5 forms

Hello everybody!
I'm new to the forum, however I've been following for years. First to gather info as to how to obtain my F-1 visa, and now because after four years of knowing and falling in love with this wonderful man - we're married! I'm danish citizen, he's born in Jamaica but been living in US as a citizen for many years.

Anyways, we will be doing the application without the help of an attorney - fingers crossed - but I have received some pointers from people who has been through the application process before.

My question to you guys is, for the initial application package that we will send in (adjusting from F-1) are these forms enough?

I-130
I-131
I-485
I-765

And do we have to fill out and submit I-864 immediately as well?

Obviously, we'll submit the additional documents and copies needed to follow these forms.

I-693 completed by civil surgeon - check out I-485 instructions.

Thank you so much!! So, the I-693 that kzielu mentioned isn't neccesary, right? I already had to submit proof of vaccines and what not in order to start school. The medical isn't until later, at least as far as I thought.

Did you happen to read the link you've been given and thanked for ? Especially the "Assembling the I-485:Checklist" piece of it with paying specific attention to the line below :

12. I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status

Of course it is necessary. Read the I-485 instructions http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-485instr.pdf as I advised you above - this is critical document and you didn't even bother to read it. Page 4 exactly.

There is no medical later on - that isn't the consular process, it's adjustment of status. Only thing that will happen later may be RFE for lack of something (for example I-693) and interview (which is mandatory).

I read it, and I appreciated it! I also called to schedule appointment for the medical. I thought I could edit the reply, however I couldn't. It's not my first rodeo, so I know the importance of following the guidelines preciously to the point. I have all the forms and instructions in front of me. I must have had a glitch. Again - thank you!

Not a prob - just trying to point out that while VJ guides are without a doubt useful, really the form instructions have everything one needs to do and are officially published by USCIS. Always worth reading them, even to double check.
