Obama finds a "Patsy"

In the face of a growing PR storm over the trade of five Taliban detainees for one U.S. Army soldier, the Obama administration now says the final call for the swap was made by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel.

During a closed-door briefing of members of the House of Representatives Monday, the last question asked was who made the final decision for the transfer to happen, according to The Weekly Standard.

The administration placed the responsibility squarely on the shoulders of Hagel, according to the House Armed Services committee chairman Buck McKeon, R-Calif.

“Now wait a minute, are you saying it was Secretary Hagel that made this decision, or was this the president of the United States?” McKeon said to reporters, according to The Standard. “It was the president of the United States that came out with the Bergdahls and took all the credit. And now that there’s been a little pushback, he’s moving away from it?”

Now, amid animosity about this decision that was made without following the ‘law of the land’ to inform Congress 30 days before the release of any Guantanamo detainees and the questions surrounding Bergdahl’s desertion along with the belief by some top military officials that he was collaborating with the Taliban, the ‘we’ has turned to ‘he’. Barack Obama, who shallowly claims at times that the buck stops with him, is now pinning the decision on Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.

Of course.

Rep. Buck McKean (R-CA) perhaps shed the best light on the cowardly hypocrisy by Obama’s changed claim that Hagel was the decision-maker. Rep. McKean said, “It was the president of the United States that came out (in the Rose Garden) with the Bergdahls and took all the credit and now that there’s been a little pushback he’s moving away from it and it’s Secretary Hagel?’

Ummm, yeah! Why take the blame himself? DUH!!

The preznit's people have now walked this back. First it was Hagel's call, and within the last few hours, the preznit now claims he made the decision.

I think Obama's told so many lies that fact & fiction are now indistinguishable to him, and he assumes the same is true for the rest of us.

The Obama administration is usually quite good at communicating sound arguments for why they do the things they do to Democrats like myself.

In fact, in terms of records, he has several others.

Obama has to be, without a shadow of a doubt, the most active POTUS we have ever had. I don't recall any other president who did so much in so little time. The motley crew would have you believe that Obama manages to play golf every day, all day long, all the while keeping his plan to destroy America, right on schedule. Obama is behind every scandal in our nation and I would be willing to bet money he was somehow linked to the JFK assassination. He is the sole responsible for Fast and Furious, irrevocable amnesty to all illegals in the US; at once beefing up the borders more than any of his predecessors and promoting illegal immigration, while promising citizenship to illegals and having the highest rate of deportation than any other POTUS. I have no doubt whatsoever, Obama had something to do with a fender bender I saw on the bridge last night.

Ah, yes, and all this with only 24 hours to a day!

Seriously, show me anyone who can multitask more efficiently...
