Medical record to bring to the US

Hi all,

My fiancee visa was approved, they gave her a notice that she'd need to bring the brown visa package together with the medical record to the United States to present to the US immigration officials upon arrival. My fiancee has turned in her medical record to the CO, does that mean she will get it back along with her brown visa package that will be sent to her? Or does medical record here mean the vaccination/immunization records? Thanks!

it is the packet that she received either Cho Ray hospital or IMO and when she passes her interview they give it back in the sealed envelope. When she does her point of entry the CO will open it.

It will be returned to her to bring along for submission at the POE. It will later be sent to whatever office that is used for her AOS meeting. The medical is valid for one year.

Thanks for answering. One more question, it's been 2 days since the interview but the status on CEAC still says "Ready", should we worry? What is the typical time for it to change to "Issued" status after visa is approved at the interview? Thanks!!!

I believe the status will go to Issued in a few days. You have nothing to worry about.

And congrats on your journey!
