Hi All...

I know some of you, like myself, have been struggling with the K3 vs. CR-1 question...which should be pursued? Which is faster?

I called the embassy in Copenhagen today where we should do our K3 and the person I spoke to pointed out some good points why the CR-1 might be the way to go:

1. There is a 3 month wait for interviews anyways

2. A security check or AP/AR on, let's say, an Iranian can take around 3 months AFTER the interview.

She also stressed that it may be faster at this point to continue the I-130 route in Germany. This would save multiple trips to Denmark for the medical and interview (medical is two weeks prior to interview and must be completed in Denmark). I myself would like to keep pursuing both and see what happens first.

Just thought you'd like to know....

Debbie
