Today, I received the NVC checklist cover letter for my mother's case (I am sponsoring her to immigrate to the US). Here is the first paragraph on the letter.

We have reviewed the documents which you submitted in support of an application for an immigrant

visa. Please review the information listed under each applicant's name and provide any documents

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

And the check list pretty much listed all the documents AOS and IV needs. I have submitted all AOS, IV supporting documents to NVC electric email a week ago. Does that mean all the documents I submitted do not meet their standard? Should I call and find out?

thanks

there are usually 2 checklists - 2 false checklists - that come in to your emailbox from NVC.

With that said - usually the false checklist does not list documents - but refers in generic terms to 'visa application' or 'support documents'....

If I were you - I would call into NVC, get a supervisor - and ask:

1. were the email attachments detached , added to the casefile, and reviewed by a reviewer? [if yes on any of that - get the dates]

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
