Biometrics appointment coming up.

I have my biometrics appointment on Friday in Brooklyn. I'm brining my passport, NOAs and appointment letter. What can I expect at this appointment? How long will it take and are you asked any questions?

From the experience of others, how long after this can I expect to wait for my EAD, or is there no correlation?

It takes about 10 mins, you get fingerprints taken and a photo. No questions. When you get biometrics done has no effect on your EAD. Count 90 days from when you applied and expect your EAD then. Good luck.

photo, fingerprints maybe some waiting about, I was there about 40 mins all told, mostly waiting. It's not an interview. You will get a receipt from them so hang on to it

My EAD took 72 from application and about 3 weeks after bio appt

Hiya, I went to the Manhattan one about two weeks before my appt time/date, wasn't an issue as the office was empty. So thats an option it you wanted to do a walk in.

Take the marriage certificate too if you have a name change and you should be good to go.

The other details are same as above posters. Took about 10 mins for me.

I got my EAD within 65 days of filing.

Thank you all. It was very quick and the staff were very pleasant. A+ for Brooklyn USCIS Application Support Centre!

I am very much looking forward to my EAD. This is the longest I haven't worked since I was 13, if you count my paper round!
