Please Help, i read lots of posts, but i still can't find a answer for my concer. There are different answers for the same question. I feel so lost.

Well, here is my story.

Back Ground Info:

I had a boyfriend, who is a US citizen. we met 2012 in my home country. He was working there back then. Then he moved back to US, but we kept relationship all the time. I have visited him in us several times via b2 visa. we both agreed that our relationship is not going anywhere if we separated all the time. then i quitted my job in my home country, tried to move to us for a while, living with him, and seeing where our relationship goes.

I have a b2 visa, and i first enter US on July 2013, i was studying english in a university for a short period (because it's short term, it's ok to have a b2 visa for studying there). Then i left US on Jan 2014.

My second entrance of US was on Feb 2014. After that , my boyfriend proposed to me on May 2014, so we got married on May 2014.

I didn't do any illegal things during my staying.

About My Visa:

My b2 visa is expired on June 10th 2014, and my I-94 will be expired on August 10th 2014.

My concerns:

I have got all the paperworks done.(I-130, I-485, I- 864), I have NOT Filed them yet.

1. After i file them, am i allowed to legally stay in US if my i-94 expired (my visa has already expired.)?

2. what should i do if it were illegal to stay after my i-94 expired in my case? Is there a way to be done without leaving US?

Thank you guys so much. Please help me !

You will be in AOS so your I-94 no longer matters. You will not be here illegally, if that is your concern.

Congrats & good luck!

1. yes - once you have the receipts on the filing - you begin a new period of authorized stay. in the end - when EAD or greencard issued - you can join in with USA society - get a SSN - start working...

2. see #1.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

lemme try again...

posit #1 is valid - but lets say the receipt notice comes with a date after your I-94 expires...

big deal - doesn't matter - as

any overstay on you is automagically forgiven when the green card is made.
