Nope, no school shootings in the good ole' days. Except these 93 incidents that occurred during the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's - roughly two school shootings a month year.

Guns are harder to get now than they were in the past and there are more mass shootings. Go figure. Maybe with even more gun control the mass shootings will increase even more as your examples are clearly showing a trend, the harder guns are to get, the more mass shootings. Why is that? I've got a great idea! Let's enforce the laws we currently have before we make new ones that won't be enforced. Don't plug the hole in the ship, just install a bigger pump to get rid of the water quicker.

Brazil has the most murders by gun and also one of the lowest suicide rates. Just a guess, but maybe suicide has something to do with mental health.
