Hi everybody

i am dv2015 lottery winners. i will appreciate when you can help me with my question. the time that i have filled for dv lottery,i dident write the name of my step child who was going to be 21 in 2 months and i wrote only the name of my daghter who has 10 years old but later in the form ds260 i wrote his name too but i wrote that he will not immigrate with us. now i scare to be disqulified for that. can you tell me does it a big problem? my case number is AS 2k .

Do I understand correctly your stepchild was going to be 21 two months after you sent the initial entry (not two months from now?)

Usually this is immediate disqualification. You could try convince them that because you knew the child would be too old to join you left them off. Can't say if you will be successful trying this. They are pretty adamant about leaving dependents off leading to disqualification and they are specific about including kids under 21 at the time of entry (and of course the DV instructions are very clear that you must include stepchildren).

Hi dear

he was going to be 21 years old after i sand the dv form and i dident do that in purpose but i dident know so much what i muss do and anyway he dident want to immigrate. i feel so sad because everything in this way is so complicate .we think we did every thing perfect but we find out the mistake that can disqualify us. i wrote his name later in ds 260 but i think is too late.
