Well guys the wait is now over and my fiancée is approved. This was a very quick but stressful process in a short period of time. This will test your relationship, communication, and trust.

Now for the review....Well my fiancée had a 730am appt. and she wanted me to wake her up at 2am so I did. I made sure she had a big breakfast and to double check everything and take everything she had for the interview and make sure she didn't leave anything behind. First thing I had her check is her appointment letter, passport , ds-160 fee receipt. You need these things before they even let you in the door. I told her I would call her a little later so I give her time to eat and get ready. So I called her around 4am and she was about to leave soon so I again told her I would call her a little later. I called her again to make sure she was in line around 6am cause I knew her friend was with her and she would take her cell phone when its time for her to start, well I didn't get thru so I guess she was getting inside already. So it was a waiting time for me and trying to keep myself busy at home so I don't stare at the clock all afternoon and night.

My fiancée told me she got her cue number after they checked everything and went thru 2 sets of security. Then she said got called up fairly quickly around 8am for fingerprints. Then a second time for handing in her documents, my support papers and was asked some questions about her birthday and name and what was my name and my date of birth and what I did for a living and then she was advise to have a seat. Well this was the time that took the longest and it was so long that they took a break for lunch around noon and return. So she was still waiting for the final interview. Her number came up and it was with a female US CO.

Questions that was asked:

What's her name?

What's her dob?

What's her fiancé name (me)?

What fiancé do for a living?

What is the address of your fiancé? The CO was very surprise that my fiancée knew my whole address including zip code cause she remembered cause of western union when I send money to her lol.

Do you have photos? Fiancee had about 60-70 photos and was telling a little about the first 4 photos which was a proposal picture and when I did a surprise visit. Also a picture of the engagement ring.

How many times your fiancé visit you?

Have your fiancé met your family?

That's it and CO never looked at cell phone bill to show how much we talked at all. Just to let you know all we had for proof of relationship was photos, cell phone bill, receipts for when we traveled. I never sent her any emails or cards in the mail. We did talk on Skype but my old laptop i spilled a drink on it so i had to buy a new laptop and that didn't have that much Skype log on it so didn't worry about it.

Tips: My fiancée was well dressed like she was on a job interview but wearing flats to be comfortable. Also its very important that your fiancée pay attention to the cue board for her number. There was a lady there that was to busy talking and missed her number and im not sure what happened to her but we can all take a guess what might have happened. A lot of the girls was talking but my fiancée choose not to talk and use that time to pray and be to herself. I got a call from fiancée around 245pm when she finished and got back to her friends house. She did tell me that there was people there that was at the final interview for a hour or 30 mins. She was ask my several Filipinas why she wasn't nervous and she said "secret" lol. Like i said she used this time to pray and she was calm. Her final interview only took about 4 minutes and after that she was ask by several Filipinas what happened and why her interview as so short and others was so long. She told her them i just answered all the questions and had all her paperwork in order to give and to show if ask for. She waited for the final number to be called to be released.

Key to our success:

1. Go over everything with your fiancée like paperwork that you sent her and questions that they may ask you.

2. Do a practice interview or pop quiz on your fiancée and see how she responds to questions. ( remember the CO already knows the answer and just checking to see what your fiancée says matches on documents)

3. Petitioner read, read, read all the post that people put on VJ. I put lots of hours just reading what others said, discuss , and their tips, and questions they had...Knowledge is power

4. Advise your fiancée to don't get caught up in all the chit chat on interview day cause she may miss her number on the cue board

I hope this helps. I know its not much but every little bit counts. My fiancée is still in shock of the whole process and cant believe its all over. Just in case you haven't read any of my post, fiancée had already did her CFO yesterday so all she has to do now is wait for visa and get the sticker put on it. She already has her certificate.

Thank you VJ members for your support and blessings and encouragements. I know this journey is not quite over but its a good break for now and a successful journey thus far. Hoping to have her here with me by the end of June. I will continue to read postings and advise and support others as the same was given to me. If you have any questions please ask.

Good Luck

so glad it all worked out for you and your fiance, Congratulations. I agree with all your tips and advices, those will definitely help a lot!! at first i was wondering why it took her that long in the embassy. I had my interview around the same time as hers, the interview was less than 10 minutes by 10am or so we were alreally celebrating over a bowl of noodles in SM Mall of Asia. But then I remembered that my then fiance was with me during the interview. Because he's a US passport holder, we were able to go in right away and was first to be interviewed.

I am so happy for you and I could imagine your excitement! Have a blessed day and may your fiance have a blessed trip to US.
