Hi everyone, i am new here in visajourney and would really appreciate any help from members ....

My situation:

I-94 expired last May 10, 2014 from a B1/B2 visa, - then got married to US citizen last May 24, 2014 and about to file for I-130, I-485 package... ;)

Question:

On the part where you have to show evidence of a bonafide marriage, did anyone here include pictures of the wedding, honeymoon etc.... as attachment? or do we need these pictures on hand during the interview phase?

i would appreciate any comments, suggestions or any questions from member please ......

If you come in with visitors visa... There is a probability that they will think your marriage is not real. Cos your intention on coming to the US is for business and pleasure, not to meet someone and marry. Even when the love is real btw you two, but coming in with a B1/B2 visa is always a red flag. My opinion

My opinion is not to get you angry, if it suit you, good, if it does not... Look away!!!!

Include any information that is listed for IR or Cr-1 couples. A joint lease, bank accounts and joint assets, life insurance policies with each other as beneficiaries, any other insurance, car title, utility bills and whatever evidence of financial co mingling. Pictures and evidence from trips together like receipts - whether you flew or drove or met family members. Evidence of purchases while in the same place on trips (credit card or bank statements). Pictures of you two in different places you have visited or hung out at - chats or texts or emails. Affidavits from people, who know both of you and the nature of your relationship. If possible meet each other's families (and take pics!)

Cover letter detailing your relationship highlighting important moments of the relationship progression. I can see why it could be a red flag that you married a USC near the expiration of your other visa - but if you have a genuine relationship you will be fine. Keep track of traveling you do together or other joint activities while the visa/adjustment of status is processing. If you do not already have those things together - do your best to co-mingle your lives and finances to whatever degree you can. Every little bit helps.

My husband and I got married shortly after we met and did not have a lot of the things suggested to show a bonafide relationship. We submitted pictures, affidavits, emails, joint bank account and showed that we were each other beneficiaries. That worked for us. And we just kept collecting more info along the way.... Ultimately they didn't need all then"extra" stuff we collected, but it made me feel better knowing we had our bases covered :)

Best wishes to you and congrats on the marriage! Keep your hope up, follow these guides and you will be just fine :)
