Can I reschedule my interview while out of the country?

Timeline

I'm adjusting from E-3 (work) visa to LPR based on marriage to US citizen. See timeline. I'm in Chicago, which currently has pretty long wait times.

I moved to T&I on February 16th(ish). Based on the timelines of other VJers in Chicago, I'm expecting my interview to be schedule sometime in August.

I will be in Germany from early July to end of August for work (using EAD/AP which I received in February).

My question is this: I've heard that to reschedule the green card interview, one needs to make an InfoPass appointment. If I receive my schedule notice while I'm in Germany (hubbie will be at home checking the post!) and need to reschedule, will I have any problems rescheduling from out of the country?

[To be clear: I'm not asking "if I can't go to the interview because I'm out of the country, can I reschedule?", I'm asking whether the process of rescheduling can be undertaken while I'm out of the country]

Thank you!!

To reschedule, you do not make infopass. I can't remember if you call to reschedule or if you send back the appointment letter with a reschedule request. Either way, as long as your husband gets the letter, you guys can figure it out. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
