Naturalization (N-400) Interview Experience @ USCIS Phoenix, AZ

My interview was scheduled on June 9, 2014 at 12:15 pm and I arrived at the USCIS Phoenix, AZ office at 11:30 am. They asked for my interview letter and went to check in area and after that they told me to proceed to the front desk and handed my interview letter and she stamped it and I was told to proceed at window 8.

I went to window 8 and put my stamped interview letter in the tray facing downward and wait to call my name. At around 12 pm the asian looking old guy (vietnamese I thnk because his last name is Pho) called my name and assist me to his office. He asked me for my I.D. (Drivers License), Philippine Passport and 10

yr. Green Card. He double check my all my names on my I.D.'s.He asked what is my ss#, contact# and address. He asked me to read the oath before I sign

the form he gave me.He also asked the questions that was in the n400 form that I submitted .

He asked me if I want to change my name. I said "no" however he explain to me that it will be my middle name written in my Phil. Passport ( Anyway, for filipinos if you get married your last name when your single will be your middle name

when you get married) So all my I.D.'s here in US I used my last name (maiden name) as my middle

name. Anyway, he told me that if I want that way I need to change my name which is I said Ok. He corrected my paper and put my full name the way I want to reflect in my Naturalization Certificate.

After that, he printed some forms that I need to sign and he start asking me the civics question;

1. What are the rights/freedom in the first amendment?

2. Who is the Executive Branch?

3. If the president can no longer serve who will be the next president?

4. What are the concern of americans during the worl war?

5. Why colonist came to america?

6. I forgot the question??

Asked me to read one simple sentence and write what he said. After that, he asked me to sign the form again and write my full name and double check all my name is correct. He stamped the paper in my folder "Approved" . lastly, he handed me a paper (N-??) says approved and told me they will send me letter in the mail for my Oath Taking Ceremony. He returned papers that I include in my packet because he said I sent alot. (I included for the past three years maybe that's why he said its alot).

Now waiting for my Oath Letter schedule.

UPDATE: Need your help please!!!

Is there anyone here knows or have the same experience like mine? I got my oath Ceremony Notice/Letter on mail today. However, I notice that the name written on the Oath Ceremony Letter/Notice is my full MAIDEN NAME.

All the letters that i received on my N400 application was my married name even in my application form that I submitted to them, Now, I am very worried because my Oath Taking was scheduled on July 4, 2014 and I want to make sure that my Naturalization Certificate will be printed correctly.

I remember the USCIS officer that interviewed me ask if I want to change my name and I answered no because I've been using my married name in all my ID's including the N400 application form that I submitted.

However, he told me that if I will not change my name they will follow the name in my current Philippine Passport which has my Full Maiden Name.

Anyway, I told the uscis officer I want to use and reflect on my naturalization certificate is my Married Name and NOT my maiden name in my philippine passport so, he told me he corrected it on the form and I will do my name change.

Now, the Oath Ceremony Letter/Notice that I received in the mail today was my full maiden name and Im so worried why it was like that?? all the letters/notices that I received prior to oath ceremony schedule letter was in my married name.

Please help me what should I do??? or is this ok?? I am so worried and I want to make sure that my MARRIED NAME should reflect on my Naturalization Certificate.
