Notice of AOS interview waiver

Hello every one

I have applied for AOS and today i received by mail notice of potential interview waiver case.

so it means i might not have an interview to get my green card.

the letter also says my case might be delayed for 6 months from the date of that letter.

I just want to know is there any one who has experienced the same and is it really going to be delayed for 6 months?

This is very normal, especially for AOS applications adjusting from K1. There is already an ongoing thread about Potential Interview waiver cases: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/452854-notice-of-potential-interview-waiver-case/

Once you receive this letter, your online status will not change. That is, until you receive a new notice from uscis.

my husband received the same notice in the mail yesterday as well. I don't know that it will be delayed for 6 months, but they probably have to give a large time frame so they don't go beyond that. good luck!

I got my waiver notice in Feb and am still waiting, so it looks like it will be getting on for 6 months.
