The supreme court ruled against CSPA "age-out" kids today.

My question is the following, does this only affect children of primary beneficiaries still waiting for their priority date?

In my scenario, the petitioner is already a permanent resident and was a permanent resident when she petitioned for her 20 year old daughter who turned 21 while waiting for the priority date.

Does this ruling impact her? Yes or no?

To me the answer appears to be that it does not impact her but I am still unsure.

Also, does anyone know when this ruling takes affect.

Thank you for anyone who can help me figure this out.

You are incorrect. Go to NPR.

Supreme Court Rules Some Kids Must Restart Immigration Process At Age 21

Actually, you are incorrect.

Please tell me what changed when the US Supreme ruled the US government's current interpretation is valid?

What changed from Matter of Wang?

Nothing. SCOTUS agrees with the BIA decision in Matter of Wang.
