I started a thread in the US citizenship but can I just say how annoyed I am that my daughter's Naturalization oath got scheduled during our vacation even though she made it very clear when she wouldn't available. 4 whole days and of course they pick 1 of those days :(

Wiz(USC) and Udella(Cdn & USC!)

Naturalization

02/22/11 - Filed

02/28/11 - NOA

03/28/11 - FP

06/17/11 - status change - scheduled for interview

06/20?/11 - received physical interview letter

07/13/11 - Interview in Fairfax,VA - easiest 10 minutes of my life

07/19/11 - Oath ceremony in Fairfax, VA

Removal of Conditions

12/1/09 - received at VSC

12/2/09 - NOA's for self and daughter

01/12/10 - Biometrics completed

03/15/10 - 10 Green Card Received - self and daughter

we will - we are literally in another state on vacation on July 4th and a) I wanted to be there and b) she doesn't have any way to get there.

I'm just not clear which address to send the change back to - they don;t tell us in the oath letter...guess i'll use the address on the envelope and hope for the best

You can also contact your local USCIS office - I believe they are also involved in scheduling these events even if the event takes place in a different location.

Thanks...we'll go with that. I found the same feedback after searching VJ for a bit.

You can also contact your local USCIS office - I believe they are also involved in scheduling these events even if the event takes place in a different location.
