Naaa - last year, everyone was OMG SO SAD VERMONT IS SO BEHIND - and I was one of them. Then our case was in tone of the first batches sent to Texas, and we got NOA2/approved inside 10 days of the transfer. And I was promptly accused of being a troll, because there was no way people were being approved inside 10 days of being transferred to a new center.

Fits and starts. It seems really cyclical; hell, for where we're at in the process, even four months ago people were getting EADs and such inside a month, and now it seems like April filers are seeing NO movement whatsoever.

...in fact, I'm pretty sure that the waiting becomes torturous whenever you have something in specific you need or want. We were pretty relaxed during the K1 process because we had an external timeline we had to follow (he had some contracts before he could move). But our new external timeline REALLY NEEDS TO HAVE AN EAD NOW SO PLEASE HURRY UP OH MY GOD and since what we need requires immigration to DO SOMETHING NOW PLEASE it's agony.

9 times out of 10 it turns out to be a CSC filer. I've just clicked on one and it says "your I129f was approved in 23 days. 23 DAYS? Are you kidding me?!

Yes. This. We thought it would be really cool to get married on our anniversary of meeting for the firrst time and, when we filed, that looked easily achievable (filed in December '13 for a November 14 wedding) Now it's starting to look like we won't make that. Meh

Ugh, that sucks. I'm sure I read somewhere that CSC are slow in forwading to NVC but that they should have received it within 3 months, so hopefully not long til you hear something now

i understand how you feel. I've been doing this since march 2013, and still waiting. My case was complete 4/30 and I see so many people getting interviews, and I've gotten nothing yet in almost 2 months!!

I feel for you. It's amazing how lame USCIS is. Why can't they balance the work load between locations? I will never understand that. Idiotic.

Aww sorry... If I had to wait this long I would just plan moving to some other English-speaking country with my man... And honestly if he could come to Poland I wouldn't think for a second, just get him here ASAP. But Polish is like the hardest language ever and there's no way he'd learn it :D

Mine wasn't 23 days, but it was 24. Not here to brag by any means, but the fast approvals do exist. I've been shocked by how quickly we've gone through this process. I'm very grateful, but also I keep in the back of my mind we could run into bumps and slow downs. Praying for speedy processes for all of you!

Are you sure yours wasn't CSC? That just doesn't even seem like TSC's processing time at all unless there was an expedite requested/approved.

Yes, mine was CSC. I thought the OP was referring to CSC as well. I may have misread.
