Rafael thank you .Yes we are definitely doing the DNA ..have been to Nigeria 7 times during the period .though our child visited only once for 3 months when he was just two years, he got so sick and we almost lost him and couple with the fact that he goes to school . How long will the whole process do DNA takes ? And is he going to have another interview entirely or just the result.

The embassy will call you back for a DNA swapping then the results are sent to a lab in US. It cost about $400 to $600 per test. Depending which lab you pick in US.

It takes about 2 to 4 months to get results they will call him back and all should be fine.

They don't order a DNA unless everything else is fine so all is goof he should be able to get Visa. No wahala.

I know you didn't. I was talking about this:

I was only asking because the original explanation was they were living together in Nigeria. And I couldn't understand why a US Citizen child needed validity of who their father is. But now I see with the great time that has passed the CO is questioning the couples commitment to one another.

It's something very rare you never see them asking citizens to have to have their US based children checked. That's why I asked
