Okies so just a question about some things going on with me and my husbands case.

He is coming from Canada and had his interview in Montreal.

Interview Date was April 14th, 2014

The person that interviewed him told him to consider himself approved BUT he didnt have a long enough time on his passport for their liking. Apparently you have to have at least four months on your passport for them to approve you outright and he was due for renewal sooner than that (he planned on renewing before coming to the US) So now he has renewed his passport (took a bit ) and just last week he sent his passport to the embassy through Loomis like he was told. My question is how long should it take for his visa to come through? They really didnt give us a time frame on when it would get to the embassy or how long it would take the embassy to process once received. Will we get an email? Is there a number I should call? Just not sure what I should be doing if anything. Just cant wait for him to finally get his visa lol

2004- Met online. Started a great friendship
2009- Decided our friendship had turned into something major
2009- First Official Visit and when we officially started dating
July 1st,2011- We got married!!!
USCIS
September 14,2012- Sent In I-130
September 20,2012- First NOA
September 25,2012- I-130 transferred to another office for processing because they now have jurisdiction over the case.
May 18, 2013- NOA2

NVC

February 21,2014- Case Complete

MONTREAL EMBASSY

April 14,2014- Interview (Administrative Review for passport renewal)

June 17,2014- Visa Listed as Issued

June 20,2014- Visa In Hand

July 27,2014- Port Of Entry
