I am with you my Grace

I fully agree, and I plan to vote a straight Libertarian ticket next time . I think GWB made some really bad mistakes and I don't think Reagan was perfect.

What I don't understand is that when Obama does something outrageous, they only thing they can say is, well what about bus or Reagan, to me it proves they know how bad Obama sucks as a President, they just can't admit they were wrong about all that hope and change BS

Liar Liar pants on fire..

You are? Man, you could have fooled me with your shilling for Allen West and Herman Cain around here. Neither of these bozos are on board with the middle of the road approach that Spooky Turtle talked about. I doubt that many that not only ingests but peddles their stupid vitriol seemingly regularly would either.

And when the right was in charge, where were we? Was it some Paradise? I must have missed that.

Things were much gooder back then.

Money and wealth trickled down like it would never end... All the free stuff we got from Obama doesn't even begin to compare with the stuff in with which we were up to our necks.

The whole point of a conundrum is that there is no true answer

That is true when the conundrum is actually based on valid premises.

I'm still waiting for my free shyt!

But that's my point. Let folks here tell it, things were awesome before 2009, and that's not the case.

2009? How about the rest of the folks that still maintain America was at its best in the 50's and that life was 'oh so much better' back in the day, and then the 60's happened... I don't think I can roll my eyes back far enough....

When I hear the good ole days, I have to ask what they're referring to. Depends on who's doing the talking...

Marvin - I meant to ask this of you/to you earlier this year - but

when you retire from Active Duty - are you going to be affiliated with a particular political party, being active in district caucus meetings, perhaps supporting - actively supporting - a candidate of your choice?

if yes - which way do you intend to 'lean' ???

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Do you think Marvin is dumb enough to answer?

That will depend on where I end up after retirement. Wherever I go for the job, I'll learn about the city and it's politicians. Being in for 20 years, 12 spent overseas, I've never been somewhere long enough or involved enough to find out what's what.

I was looking at libertarians since the first two are pretty much the same depending on who you are. I tend to be in the middle. I'll go either way, as long as it's right and just.

Leading question.

You should know by now, I'm always up for a conversation. If it's a trap, it's all the more fun trying to get out.

I tell ya what's fun - after a move -

go to ALL of the district caucus meetings for 3 months - on all parties - before making a deep decision ...

Well, at least I had fun doing it. .... :D

I'm looking forward to it. I haven't lived in a real neighborhood since 1995. It's been on base the whole time, cheaper and safer. It will be refreshing to have actual neighbors.

OK I get it. You all are going to deflect throw back to Reagan Bush and anything else to keep from talking about the present .

Pressed +1 by mistake.

You think a former prof of law doesn't understand how the law can be manipulated? How do you think lawyers make money.

Some peeps(sic) are so dumb

Always with you guys, you can't discuss an issue with calling people names
