Can someone help me out a little with the email below. What do they mean by when people prepared their documents? I know they don't mean the petition (album) because I sent ours in early February. Do they mean when the Embassy prepared the documents?

We are scheduling on the basis of first come first serve basis, according to the preparing of the documents, and we are now scheduling people prepared their documents mid of March.

Regards,

Consular Staff

I think they are making queue as they mentioned above. They are processing now the finished papers ( I guess those who have completed their medical exams and got all the papers ready for the interview). I do not know the system in Egypt, but in UAE, the Embassy send a letter to the petitioner with list of all the required documents and date of interview, and the petitioner send this letter to the beneficiary to make medical exam and collect all these documents. That is why they put the interview date after (60 to 70 days) from the letter date to allow the beneficiary to collect all these documents and do the medical exam. We do not have packet 3 or 4 or any of these stuff. We do not send papers to the embassy. We just get a letter with interview date and required papers, we collect them, do the medical exam and wait for the interview date.

From what I understand from their letter, they reach in the queue till mid march. Check when your fiance papers reached the embassy, and you will see how much time they need to reach your fiance papers.

Be patient, good luck :)

I appreciate your response but didn't help me much :) We sent his packet 3 with all papers and they received them on May 18th. He has to do the medical 3 weeks prior to his interview according to the email we received from the Embassy. They have all other papers.

Call the NVC after 2 weeks of getting your approval NOA2. Obtain the case number. Once you obtain the case number, wait about 5 days and check it online on CEAC website. You will see the status of your applications. Once you see that it is received by the US Embassy in Abudhabi, wait for about 1 to 3 weeks. The Embassy will contact your US Fiance(e) and send her empty email. This email (from AbuDhabiIV@state.gov) has 2 attachment. One is the interview letter and all the required documents, and the other is list of clinics to do the medical exam. The Embassy will give you 2 to 3 months time to collect all your papers and do the medical, do not expect the interview date to be sooner. Mine is after 71 days from interview letter.

Tell your US Fiance(e) to keep checking her email and SPAM folder in case it went to SPAM. Be patient, it is long process.

One more important thing. This website is about to share information and benefiting from each others, please fill your timeline with all the dates, you will help other people have estimate calculations about timing. You will not get hurt if you fill up your timeline, and we are here to help you out. We are all the same and sharing the same experience.

Thanks

Then you have to be patient and wait, your Fiance papers received on May, and they are still processing mid March. Be patient ;). There is nothing you can do to speed up the process.
