You will be required to bring bona fide marriage proof later to the interview. Marriage license is enough for I-485, some wedding pictures are okay to add. And yes, please read instruction carefully to avoid unwanted RFE. Good luck.

From the AOS Guide that you already read (emphasis added):

Interview (in person) for Adjustment of Status

Eventually most people (see exception below) will receive a letter from the CIS informing you of your interview date. It will include instructions on what to bring to the interview and any required items you may need to complete before hand. One of the most critical items requested will be "evidence of the relationship" which proves that your marriage is true and faithful (i.e. photos, joint checking account, joint lease, joint mortgage, and birth certificates of children if any, etc.). Also, it is important to bring the current passport of the beneficiary to the interview. The interview is fairly painless and may be video recorded and lasts between 15-30 minutes. If approved you will be mailed your "green-card" shortly after the interview date (weeks).

The only proof needed is a copy of your marriage certificate. If you have an interview later (you may not), then bring proof of co-mingling finances and co-habitation then.

No, of course just marriage certificate is not enough.

Have you read the instructions for the petition form?

You have to enclose all possible proofs of real marriage. The most persuasive ones are financial documents: joint bank accounts, the statments for which show regular activity and the spouses paychecks, deposited there. Joint property titles, insurance, taxes - all you can provide.

Pictures will help in case you don't have plenty of financial documents. But send the pictures anyway as well.

I don't think you have read the I-485 form.

OP: You don't need to show proof of a bona fide marriage for AOS from K-1 because your relationship was already vetted for the K-1 visa. If chosen for an interview you will show proof then, but there is a chance you won't have an interview. Good luck.

Disregard the previous post and consider this one:

No, of course just marriage certificate is not enough, if you don't want to get a RFE.

Chances are, that, if you enclose all possible proofs of real marriage, you will be sent your GC by mail without the interview.

no where in the I-485 instructions are requests for proof of relationship, the SOLE requirement to adjust status from a K-1 visa is the certified marriage certificate, along with the birth certificate,(also translated if necessary),the biographic form,G-325...I-94,NOA-2,and passport bio.page and entry stamp and correct medical. NO WHERE in I-485 instructions or for that matter at this forum have sending any other evidence to be required or in any way beneficial.Of course you will have to provide additional evidence of relationship at the interview stage,if you are required to have one,i will assume if a petition requires a interview is done on a case by case basis, and is in no way influenced by "frontloading" the I-485 package with unwanted and non-requested evidence.

No one will get an RFE for those things because they are not required with the I-485. You told others to read the instructions, but you have apparently not done so yourself. Show me where in the I-485 instructions it states any of those things are listed as a requirement. What page?

It also does not matter for getting approved without an interview. How much non-required evidence you include with your I-485 application has nothing to do with being waived for the interview or not. It appears to be random who is selected or not. Show me proof that adding in extras means you will not be interviewed.

Also, being waived an interview is not really a good thing lately. Those getting interviews typically receive their approval and green cards faster than those not interviewing.
