I'm wondering if my husband (only sponsor) needs to send along his bank statements for the past couple months along with the tax transcripts, W-2s, employment letter, and bank letter? Also, what are forms 1099? Are they just for people that are self employed (which then would not be applicable to my husband)? Are they needed to be sent too?

1099s are any extra income you receive beyond your regular job. if your husband got any 1099s he will need to send those. I got an rfe for not sending 1099s. the 864 does not ask for bank statements, but send what you want. the tax transcripts are a good idea, I should have sent those in the first place.
