Ok, im so damn happy and overwhelmed right now I am shaking. Litterally hard-to-type-definitely-cant-think-shaking.

Now that I have a P4, what are the next steps? Calling to schedule my medical appointment? What else? Please, walk me through this until I regain composure!!!

i don't know where you are located...you can call or email, just depends on how that panel of physicians work. i'm in ontario and you can only get appts (if I recall correctly) via email. see http://www.visadoctor.ca/

Hey guys! Silly question, but since I am getting closer to my NOA2 (UGH), I have been proactively doing everything from packet 3 to get ready, including the DS160 so that I can save it and re-upload it when it's time. My question is about the National Identification Number. What the heck is this? SIN? Passport number? DL? Help! Figured you all would know since you are at, or have passed this stage.

What kind of hotels are you looking for? I am not from Montreal (from Québec city) but I know Montreal pretty well and I could probably point you out some options!

So I just read my P4 carefully and the checklist includes "ELIGIBILITY DOCUMENT"... and the "S" code ("The NVC only received a scanned document. You must present the original document at the time of your interview").

Now this does not mean my passport, or birth certificat, or marriage termination documents as those are all listed separately. So WHAT is that eligibility document?

Ive looked here but most people seem to have received a checklist that used the F code ("The NVC did not request this form or document"). Am I in trouble?

Firstly, what is the distance from the US embassy to the city centre? I am looking for a hotel that is clean and decent not anything luxury...sometime below $100 per day as I will be there for a week. Thanks for offering to help out!

I stayed at the best western Europa. It was $99/night with my CAA discount.

There are some cheap hotels there, but you would want to be wary of them as I've read of issues (bed bugs etc..)

Check trip advisor! We've done a few threads about hotels on here, but I dunno where they are as the search engine limits us.

I wouldn't stay any further than the hotel I was at. IT was a good 10-15 minute walk to both the medical and the consulate. But it's a nice easy 2 blocks from the bus stop.
