CC for me today!

Wondering if you have any insight into how far in advance MTL interviews are being scheduled these days? 8 weeks?

congrats! I asked a few days ago I believe they are scheduled around the 15th and 30th of every month. I got my cc on 3/17 and my interview is on 5/15. And my interview email came on the 27th late day. You probably will get your interview last week of May if I was to guess. Time to schedule your medical after you get your email. And then sign up for loomis after your status on ceac says ready. I am still waiting for that....

My husband just got his shipment email from Loomis -- 2 days after his interview.

Should have his Visa/Passport in hand on Friday!! I can't believe it!

Time to book his flight home :)

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Approved!

got a call this morning from the National Visa Center to confirm my wifes interview in Montreal. Lady was so pleasant and answered all questions. Totally bizarre. Night and day experience from all the previous interaction.

NLR wisely suggested that I call NVC to find out about my interview date, but I am still shell-shocked from my previous NVC experiences, as boardercrosser astutely points out!

Seriously, though... wonder why the personal follow-up. Were not enough people showing up for their interviews or something?

CEAC Visa Status check

Anyone having trouble with the CEAC Visa status check? I have been having trouble getting my visa status to display since this afternoon (April 2 Thursday). The system sys there is an error and does not display the visa status.

Still in AP and trying to see if there has been any change in status.

IR1 Visa for spouse, both of us lived in Canada

I-130: Nebraska Service Center- submitted Feb 3,2014, approved July 30, 2014.

NVC received: Aug 22 2014

Case number, IIN available: Sept 3 2014

DS-261 submitted: Sept 3 2014

AOS submitted via email: Sept 5, 2014 (received email receipt from NVS Sept 8)

AOS fee paid: Sept 4 2014

IV documents submitted via email: Sept 15 2014 (received email receipt from NVC Sept 18)

IV fee invoice received and IV fee paid: Oct 2 2014

DS-260 submitted: Oct 5 2014

Case complete Oct 31 (no checklist) Electronic processing; IV package emailed before IV invoice received

Interview scheduled Nov 13, 2014

Interview Dec 17, 2014- denied for proof of domicile- 221G

Jan 30 2015: proof of domicile sent

Feb 5; Feb 19- status updated on CEAC, still says Administrative processing.

March 13, 2015- US citizen spouse moved back to California, sent consulate confirmation that domicile now reestablished.

March 30, 2015 - email from consulate stating that they have adequate proof of domicile, still in AP.

Status updates (without enquiry from anyone): April 27, May 6, May 7, May 13

May 13- Ready

May 14 Issued.

POE May 15, 2015

ELIS fee paid May 30

Green card production ordered July 23

Green card received July 24

I just checked ceac and my status switched to ready from in transit. Guess its time to sign up for Loomis. I need to reread the links here about Loomis. The link from the Montreal Consulate information is very confusing.

Called NVC, no sign of an interview yet.

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.
