I just loved her excuse, "it's was a bad winter, we were closed a lot so no one was here to do it" and how she said everything is ready online but someone hasn't finished entering it manually. I was like "it's been over a month! Surly it doesn't take that long to print and file a few forms. It only took me an hour to get everything together" LOL.

I asked why ppl with case numbers since my NOA2 date from Canada were going ahead and she's like "they're not"... I told her they were, I've seen it lol. I also explained its not like we have a tricky case. We've been through this before, they have our records, there is literally nothing conplicated here. Our daughter is a USC, I'm a previous working resident with no criminal history, no past marriages or children from before Arden etc lol.

call again, you spoke to Sour Puss or to her sister Ima Notellen.

there are a lot more friendly and helpful people there. call!

I've seriously spoken to 6 different people since Dec. the info is always different and NEVER helpful!

And luckily I can do my RCMP criminal record check outside of Canada, I just need to submit my fingerprints electronically through an accredited company, which are listed on the rcmp website.

04/09/2015 IV payment finally accepted by NVC after the set the wrong fee and took weeks to correct it.

*many more delays thanks to the agency processing my fingers prints to the RCMP and the post office losing our mail*

05/20/2015 Packet sent to NVC via UPS, eta May 28.

06/16/2015 Baby #2 due - homebirth in Scottsdale, AZ

Just found out that we have been getting repetitive scan dates (so our 60 day "end date" keeps getting bumped into the future) because we have been CALLING the NVC (asking about our status, confirming the scan date they have on file). Has anyone else heard of this?!?!

Yep Happened to me too. Don't even get me started about the NVC. Excuse me for being a little happy that they are not just picking on me. My wife submitted all her police clearances in October. She is a Filipino Canadian and lived in Taiwan for 2 years. The operator in December said that there was a problem with her police clearance but would give me no details about what was wrong. the phone reps didn't even tell me I could put in for a supervisor review until 2 weeks later. Than they said the supervisor review would take up to 42 days. then they said to call back in a few weeks. And the coo de graw 2 weeks ago they said they couldn't find her police clearance and that they checked all servers.

Now bear in mind it takes 2 months to get a clearance back from Taiwan and they request notarized copies of my wifes passport and other documentation on top of another 60 days to get reviewed again for them to give no details other than the police clearance did not meet the requirements . Which was the first email I received from them .... So how could my wifes police clearance not be on their servers.

I think Hillary Clinton has it saved on her servers!!!

If you count the 2 months it has taken for my wife to get back her taiwan clearance, this one document has cost us time apart since august 2014.

Anyways Coming up on 2 years in this process and my wife and I celebrate our 3 year anniversary in 2 weeks.

I scanned and emailed my wifes Taiwan police clearance on Feb 23 , 24, 25 and still haven't gotten a confirmation that they received them and also its just a copy of what she sent so i don't even know if it will be accepted and If its not accepted I don't even know whats wrong with it.

But at least they can't give me an excuse that they never got it.

I am SO sorry to both of you! I can't believe they've treated you both this way, but then again I can because it's NVC and they are awful most of the time.

I've never heard of anyone's date being pushed back because of calling. That seems so insane and illogical to me. I feel like they would only say that to get people to stop calling. That just isn't how the system works!

I will keep my fingers crossed for both of you to be done with this process quickly.
