Hrm you should have the original. You'll have to do a new one.

Thanks NLR! Saylin also suggested the same. So that's what i'll do :)

Also- can someone explain the process of getting your passport back after the interview. I understand that you have to sign up for Loomis? And then do you provide a Canadian address to the consulate for them to ship your passport back to or can you pick it up from a DHL location?

You pick it up from the nearest DHL location unless you pay extra to have it shipped to you.

Hello!

Well, I'm waiting to receive my interview email so I can show Dr. Cheema at my medical that's scheduled for this Wednesday. Third time calling NVC this week and the only answer i get is that 'the email will be sent out shortly'. I'm really hesitant to book my flights to montreal without it. Also, does the usvisa-info.com website show your interview date once the montreal consulate receives it? When I log in it says that I have 'no appointment scheduled'...

That's what mine said when I registered, i haven't checked again recently though. I just assumed that they were slow getting the info entered. I got my email the day after it was booked...I was calling everyday that week to see if my interview was scheduled, so I know what day it was scheduled.

Anytime after the case says Ready in CEAC you can register for Loomis. Get all your medical stuff together, anything you want to take to the interview, book a hotel for the night before, and make sure your police certificate isn't expired etc... (less than 1 year old)

OK NLR - you've come to my rescue again! A previous VJ'er had the same issue as me. I picked the 'scheduled by NVC' option and not the 'courier services only'...anyways was panicking when I saw a calendar thinking that I had cancelled my appointment and it was asking me to schedule a new one. But now all is good :) Thanks again!
