We got it! Interview scheduled for December 3 @ 9:30a! Two days before my b-day, best present I could have ever asked for!

The document I received said that I do not need to go, but of course I am going!

Question about medical. Given that we will be flying in from Calgary to Montreal. Is it 3 business days for medical / lab processing? That's what I've read so that means we'll have to come in the previous week and wait for processing right?

Congrats :)

I'm crossing my fingers that we get our NOA2 for my birthday on the 19th (December) LOL!! It would make a great birthday/Christmas gift ;)

Best wishes through the next (and final!) steps :)

This is why you NEVER let the husband do things! The only thing my husband did was sign the i86ez and create an IRS account. I downloaded the forms, printed, scanned, put in one pdf, made sure they weren't protected, then shoved them into dropbox so my hubby could do any extra things I didn't know how to do! Mostly he just reorganized everything and compressed the files and sent the email off himself. Yep yep...

Lesson learned...lol :)

Just got the "60 Day Email" from NVC this morning. Is this the scan date everyone is talking about? Or do you have to call NVC for that? Thanks!

I was really hoping we wouldn't have to order hard copies, but it's looking like we have no choice. I can find no way to unlock those PDFs. He is going to order them asap, but the optimist in me is still hoping there is a way around it.. <_<

Go to the IRS office and request them. he'll walk out with them vs waiting 2 weeks.

Sorry for blowing up the thread, but I just got off the phone and found out that the Mister did NOT print out the transcripts. He just saved the files I sent and resent them to me. He only printed the I-864EZ...geez. So...I believed I have found my answer. Failing that, there's an IRS office in Fargo.

Thanks to all who endured my little freak out, It has been a long day, and a long week, and there's nothing like an email from the NVC to get the blood going. Nite all! :)

It isn't easy to break me down into tears, but boy this NVC thing is tough. We got our NOA-2 for a K-1 visa on Sept. 25 and we still don't have our case number.

I was advised last week to email NVCResearch and did so.

Here's my question: do I keep calling or wait for them to figure the out? I'm using Skype but even that's starting to get expensive after four weeks of calling.

Hello

I have been following this thread (I am waiting for interview date in Montreal), and I am wondering when you finally received your passport back through Loomis. How did it work out finally?

Thanks for replying.

Ok our interview and approval was the same day as Ravan and CEAC switched from approved to issued the next day but I have not gotten a Loomis notification. I contacted Loomis who informed me that the Consulate has not shipped our package yet. I am starting to get worried...what should I do?? :huh2:

I use Google Hangouts to call the US. It's a free app on my phone and it has the option to dial a landline - all you need is a stable internet/wifi connection. I use it to call my husband and it's been decent...

As for your question about keep calling or waiting, my best guess is that would be up to you... some people I've come across here fall in the "obsessive checkers" group (and they will fully admit this - lol) others are okay with a more hands off approach. Myself, I find I am leaning more towards the obsessive checkers side of the scale, but am not fully obsessed (yet) LOL!!

Best wishes!!

Hey all! Just wanted to give a little update on our case. My husband did(of course) get his passport back from the consulate but unlike my friends raven and sylea it took a full week! Our interview was on Thursday Oct. 23 and loomis didn't send a pick up notice untill Wednesday the 29th. We did the no-no and booked our return home flight for Saturday Nov. 1st. That's why I was so nervous about getting the passport back! It worked out for us perfectly and my husband had his POE at the Trudeau airport in Montreal. It went very smoothly aside from me losing my cell phone during security check! My husband and I didn't arrive home until Sunday due to our flight being canceled and having to stay overnight in Chicago. It is amazing finally having my husband home and we look forward to a long happy life together!! Now that this is over I have so much time on my hands I don't even know what to do! Thank you to everyone who has been there supporting us and answering questions through out this process. You have all been invaluable!!!

congrats to all getting through the process. I am "in the beginning" stage, but, feel somewhat prepared from all the great info and people on this website who have contributed.

So happy for those who are finally "home with their beloved"

Blessings!!
