Great info! I'm seeing Dr. Cheema next month! :star:

I heard it was difficult to find his office even though you live in Metro Vancouver! :content:

I had my medical at Dr. Cheema's back in 2012 and it was really hard for me to find. I almost drove past it and was having serious anxiety issues when I couldn't find it. It's kind of hidden in the back and not clearly labelled. It's also beside another plaza with many doctor offices that I first went to mistakenly.

I should've taken a picture for Visa Journey. Maybe someone can take a picture in the future so people will know what it looks like.

Yes you call the NVC and ask for a case number.

Once the CEAC status says "Ready" you can call Vancouver. Until then it will say "at NVC" or "in transit" etc...

Awesome. Thank you.

Going back to Dr Cheema's office tomorrow to pick up my package on my way home, will try and get a photo of the office. But I Google 'street viewed' it before we went and it helped us find it. It certainly is a funny little place to get to.

Whoops, should have been more specific that "three weeks" was for the IV package review to case complete and not the entire time at NVC.

And yes, took the EP route.

Hi,

your travel through NVC seems to be like mine. Did EP and they reviewed the IV at the same time as the AOS. Now we just wait for interviews.

So, just to document this EP journey of mine...I just logged in on the CEAC site and the IV fee is up for payment. This process is going more quickly than I thought it would so far, but I do realize that the real wait comes AFTER I send all the AOS and IV docs in. I FINALLY managed to reduce the size of my military records (took the advice of one of you kind folks and downloaded the trial version of Acrobat XI Pro - it's driving me nuts with the pop up asking me if I want to buy it, but it's a small price to pay to use it for a month, as I likely won't need it again any time soon :) ). Just waiting for the hubby to contact me so we can pay this bad boy and get the wait on for the DS-260 :dancing: :joy:

No tax transcripts replace tax returns.

Great, one less thing to track down. I will bring my W2's since I was married in 2011 ans 2012 and need to show just my individual income. Thanks for everything you do NLR, not sure where we would be without you!!

Oh likely just fine. :) LOL

That's not a bad idea to do just in case.

I'll be around for another year at least since I have my ROC coming up in the spring. /nervous!
