Guys... Register for courier services only.

Do it after your CEAC says ready. Yes you need the confirmation for the interview day.

Ok I see, was making it harder than it needed to be, as usual. Sorry!

NLR - It's a bit confusing, but hopefully I did it correctly. I chose courier services only, but was curious about the option that was Immigrate to the US - NVC scheduled interview. I've printed the confirmation, but please clarify for me if you can, so I'm sure. Thanks!

People have tried that option but it never works.

here is what your confirmation should look like:

guys, i will be sending my AOS and IV this weekend, together. Should i send as attention DR (this is what it says now on the NVC site)

OR should I attention CMR as it says on the bar code sheet that is on the portal?

P.S I also got their new document cover sheet email two weeks ago (its like a checklist of things to include and to check off what I have included)

Method 3: Mail processing

If neither Method 1: Email processing nor Method 2: Choice of processing applies to your case, mail your financial forms and evidence, supporting documents, translations, and photocopies, with the Document Cover Sheet included with your NVC Welcome Letter, to the following address:

Attn: DR

Doesn't matter, DR or CMR. They route it. Address is the exact same.

Why are you mailing vs emailing?

Thank you

i was debating about it, read both sides of the arguments. Saw more people had trouble with emailing vs mailing, and (unless I am wrong, please correct me if i am) the processing time is identical.

So figured I would just mail it all out and be done with all the paperwork and not worry about it during the interview.

If emailing had a faster processing time then i would probably do emailing.

Ah well it used to. I liked not having to send my originals anywhere. :)

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are finally almost ready to send her IV documents. It has been a nightmare getting her police clearance from Taiwan which she dropped the ball by not submitting sooner ugggh (lol). This is the last step in emailing her documents and than waiting for a case complete. Assuming no checklist what is the timeframe for a case complete and then an interview? I am trying to read other posts for info. Great idea for this thread. Any new updates for the Montreal embassy, also? All replies will be greatly appreciated.

Oh god no. To all. They don't normally do a drug test. Poe is fairly simple, may take 30 or 40 mins more at most. Just some ffingerprints and signing a piece of paper.
