Also, my CEAC status shows IV and AOS fees as PAID, and the Civil Documents and Affadavit of Support & Financial Documents as N/A - does that mean they just haven't scanned the documents yet?? How do I know if they've received the mailed paperwork??
Not sure if I should start calling or not. Or just leave well enough alone.

Just curious......

Wah!! At least it won't take as long as USCIS stage did, that just about killed me.

Our DS260 was filed July 8th, so I'm hoping maybe my interview will fall somewhere around my wedding anniversary Sept 26th.....Maybe a more expensive anniversary than we planned if that's the case, but at least it would be double celebration!!

I shall continue to hurry up and wait............sigh.

LOL hurry up and wait.... ain't that the truth!

I really thought I would be moved by Thanksgiving in November, so I'm going to continue to have that positive thought and maybe it will happen. :dancing:

60 days, man and my process at NVC hasn't event started yet. I really hope they catch up with this backlog.

Here when I started this process NVC was a short pit stop before the interview. Now who knows when they will get stuff done.

If you are worried that they have not received the documents then you can call them and verify.

It is my understanding those two sections will remain N/A until the documents have been reviewed. I have emailed my documents in some time ago and the agents have stated they see documents in two different "mailboxes" so that would be my IV supporting as well as AoS documents.

You should be ok, but might call in just to verify.

I SO get what you're saying. Even once we get to NVC we wait forever for them to assign a case #, etc. Well, I have pushed my timeline ahead to March 2015 now, and if I get to the US sooner, then yay me! It just screws up any hope of holidays with the family because I have to save what time off I have left for the medical and interview, blah blah...

I am looking forward to being a regular on this forum soon though...glass half full :)

I really think they are just saying days instead of business days now because ppl were getting confused.

30 business days is really 45 days. Thought we could be the lucky ones that got thru NVC in 22 days HAHAHAHAHA silly me

Yea I have changed my hope from November to hopefully by February. It would be wonderful to have it before Christmas though :)

hahahaha I remember when I was figuring out how long this will take, I clearly thought NVC would take no more than 30 days! I was stressing about having my interview in october and me not being in the country. Oh man, how naive I was.

Ok, so found out today that lawyer got the 60 day email on Aug 4th. Our documents were received July 8th. So hopefully I might get a case complete by end of the month, and I'm thinking it likely that I'm looking at an October interview date??

Feeling down and fed up with this process, even though I know rationally I'm near the end of it and will soon be in my new life.

Heavy sigh.

Yep my timeline is looking similar to yours, sent my checklist in on July 10, then got the 60 day email. That puts my review by date at September 4 and then 1 week wait for interview date and 6 week wait for actual interview...maybe around the 20th of October....that's IF they don't push the review by date back even more.

*sigh*

I've been at the NVC since April....

Wow, April. That sucks. Our I130 was shipped to NVC June 4, got case number July 3rd, all fees and paid and D260 filed July 8th. One advantage to having a lawyer is I didn't have the back and forth after filing a D-261, it was all filed in one go.

I am just peeved to have to wait again, but mostly because I haven't seen my husband since January, and we've been doing long distance for 6 years.

I am SO done with it. Just want to be in the same room.

Thanks for letting me vent!

Peace.

I have no idea how you guys do long distance of so long. Hubs and I were more than done with it just under 2 years later!

Kudos!

Been doing this LDR for 10 years....I refuse to count the $$$$ spent supporting American Airlines and all the rest. But worth every penny as my man is absolutely amazing!!!

Our case was just transferred, to where?, we don't know...., but we're happy we are one day closer to never having to say goodbye at an airport. We are so very grateful to our jobs that we have never spent months and months apart. We just can't imagine.

We have been blessed and are thankful.

We continue to count our blessings and pray for others.

Amen.

God bless and namaste.
