Hello friends,

I did not find any forum for I130 petitions (F2A Category)that were routed to California service center from the month of may 2014 till now. So I thought to create one. I think there are many others like us who filed during this period. We all are waiting patiently to be united with our loved ones. Sometimes though we all get impatient. Join us here so we can share our stories. ?

Hi Ritbiv! thank you for this! i've been searching for an answer to my questions in different forums...and i noticed that till now no answers and all are out dated... by the way i'm a permanent resident here in the US. andi am going to file a petition for my husband. The coz of delay is there are some questions that i don't know what to put. Can you helop me with this?

1)File Number on G325A form.. for the petitioner where can i find it? on some forums, they are telling that the A# on the back of my GC? But that is the ALien Registration number right? so they are telling that the FILE NUMBER on the upper right of G325a form and the alien registration number on the lower right are The same? please help!

2) i saw this on one of the forum: since my ID, passport, and ssn are not yet updated, but ofcourse i will take my husbands name.what will i do?

Tips and Checks:
  1. For those who have alreadytaken or "are planning on yourtaking spouse’s last name" , use yuor new asnatl me while filling the application.
    • It does not matter if your SSN, Drivers License, Passport etc. have not been updated to reflect your new name. Your marriage certificate suffices the name change requirement.
