Hi, my husband and I are now filing for my i-130, i-485 concurrently. Please help us with some of the questions:

Background:

Entered the US under B2 status last January 25th.

Got married to my boyfriend of two years on May 27th.

I-130:

#C1: Should I write my husband's last name under mine Eventhough the county clerk put my maiden name on our marriage certificate?

#21: Give last address that we lived together. When I came here in the US in January, he was still renting a house SOUTH of Chicago (January 25 to May 20) and then by May 20th we move to NORTH of Chicago

close to her family. Then we got married May 27th. Which one should I declare as the address we lived together?

#15 Present Employer: I am a businesswoman from the country where I came from. Should I write here "self-employed" or "none" since I didnt apply for job here in the US?

#19: Do I still need to put my address abroad?

FORM i-485:

Current Occupation? I am a businesswoman since 2005 and my business is still operating well in my hometown. What should I write here?

G-325A:

(List your resident address for 5 years)

Should I write my address abroad? it is my address since I was born.

Should I put our NORTH Chicago apartment address as my present address?

Do i need to write about our short duration of stay in SOUTH of Chicago?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

C1- write your husband last name. And on the line where it says other names used put your maiden name....I did it like that.

#21: Give last address that we lived together. When I came here in the US in January, he was still renting a house SOUTH of Chicago (January 25 to May 20) and then by May 20th we move to NORTH of Chicago

You can use the most recent and you can also add an extra sheet staying all the places you both lived together since when and until when.

#15 Present Employer: I am a businesswoman from the country where I came from. Should I write here "self-employed" or "none" since I didnt apply for job here in the US?

Are you currently working in the US? If not then write Unemployed

#19: Do I still need to put my address abroad?

I dont think it is necessary, but make sure you complete question #22

FORM i-485:

Current Occupation? I am a businesswoman since 2005 and my business is still operating well in my hometown. What should I write here?

I guess this question refer to your current occupation here in the US if you are not working your current occupation might be "none" or "housewife"

G-325A:

(List your resident address for 5 years)

Should I write my address abroad? it is my address since I was born.

If you lived there in the last five years yes, you must write it.

Should I put our NORTH Chicago apartment address as my present address?

If you are now living in North Chicago then yes that's your present address, your mail will be send there.

Do i need to write about our short duration of stay in SOUTH of Chicago?

Optional, you can if you want, make sure if you add any extra sheet to your package you write the petitioner and beneficiary full name on top and make sure to sign it.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Your welcome! Any question, don't hesitate and ask!

Thank you so much for your promt response.

Another question which regards to the Occupation:

My husband and I own an online business here in the US which is declared to HIS tax summary. Does it count as a "job" for me?

Thank you for your kindness.

I am using this Website for the very first time, so I am not sure if I can post here my question, but is similar what the member MrsMM527 is doing now. I am filing the same forms, and my husband started a small business few months ago, to do cleaning and I am working with him. Now I am concerning if I should to write that I am a "cleaner", "secretary", "owner", housewife" or if is just better if I put unemployed, since I have nothing in my name here that appoints that I have a real work. And I will be filing the form I-765 in order to get an authorization to work... What I should to do?
If I should to create a different post, I apologize for any inconvenient and I would appreciate any help.
