Hey you sound like me and my wife!

My wife had her interview 9 Apr of this year (Vermont ASC). She went alone becuase I'm deployed right now (this is a whole nother mess). One minute interview and the officer told her "approved". After that, our status online went to BACK to "Initial Review", and online notes indicated there was an address change going on!!! We were pretty worried about this and kicked around the idea of getting the VT senate involved.

The online status stayed like this right until a few days ago, when my mom received my wife's Welcome Package in the mail about 30 May and then the green card about 3 Jun (I'm deployed and my wife is in Russia, so we had it sent to my mom).

As you can figure out, that was about 2 months looking like we not only were not approved, but the process took a few steps back!

Give it some time and don't worry to much. Of course anything is possible, but I would give it some time, and alot if necessary. If it's been more than 3 months, then I would start calling and digging. I know it's crappy waiting, but if you're in the same boat as us and probably a majority of others, it can take some time.

Good luck!

We had our AOS interview last May 20th. The interview lasted for 30mins or so. At the end of the interview, the IO said she believed our relationship is a bonafide one and that there should be no problems, but she didn't approve on the spot, and gave me a letter explaining that our case is for further review. On May 23rd, however, My case status online had changed to card production. I was relieved and we were ecstatic. I received my GC on june 2nd. So don't worry. Your GC is on its way!

Ours took 6 days from interview for the site to update, so I'd say you're still in a normal zone time wise. No need to worry yet. I'm sure you'll have that card any day now
