I called USCIS to request expedited on EAD due to the fact that my wife's application is pending than 75 days ( you now can request if your case is pending more than 75 days instead of 90 days). The Tier 1 submitted the request and he gave me a confirmation number. EAD changed to card production and mailed it today which is 4 days from the date that I request expedited. However, I got another responses for the inquiry from Missouri Office and they told me that my wife's request was approved on June 3, which is 1 day after I submitted a request.

Did the customer service give up a confirmation number or ID after he/she submitted it?

I called USCIS by dialing this phone number 1800 375 5283 and choose the option to talk to Tier. I asked them to submit expedited request for I-765 and they asked me what is the reason for expedited. I told him that the application is pending more than 75 days and the USCIS's processing time states that I can submit inquiry if the I-765 is pending more than 75 days.

This is a statement from USCIS website :

Important Information About Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

You can now submit inquiries about the status of your Form I-765 after your case has been pending more than 75 days.

He told me that my application is not 75 days yet, so I told him that it is 78 days now. He asked receipt number, Alien number, email, phone, address, and some other questions. He told me that he already submitted the request to Immigrant Office and here is your confirmation number. You need to write it down. He also told me that they will send me an email to response the request from 15 days to 30 days. I received an email from Missouri Office that states the request was approved.
