When do we need my husband's military certificate? We are starting to file this Friday and I need to know at what point will I need that in my hand? Does it have to be the official paper or just a copy? My husband's college is holding that paper so just wonder how many months from now I would need it from him. THnaks so much

If my pea brain remembers correctly, the military paper gets submitted when he sends back the papers to the consulate in Cairo to get the interview. That would be after the petition is approved and forwarded to Cairo, etc. which could take a few months.

You don't need it . . . he needs it because it gets sent when he does his part!! well,, I am sure that is clear, LOL!! what I mean is . . . after Cairo gets the approved petition, they send him the packet of papers to submit. That's when he would send it.
