I'm about to mail my iv package off to nvc but I would like to know if I should include photocopies of the original documents ( marriage and birth certificates) and do I need to write anything on the back of the pictures... another thing, how long after they receive the package will they schedule the interview.. I have ran out of patience!

in the instructions for nvc - it says to provide original or certified copies of those things

plus a photocopy.

back of photos? beneficiary name - consular casefile # - date of birth

as to the rest - when? usually within 60 days of declaring 'case complete' - but once complete - the casefile is lobbed over into the scheduling queue - might be 20 days - might be 60 - all depends on your place in that new queue.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi, I have a question about the police clearance certificate...I am the petitioner.. My wife has been living at the current address for more than a year. and we have a PCC for that locality but she also lived in a different part of the country in a different state for 2 years, do we need a PCC for that place as well?

Thank you

Soni
