I am wanting to bring my mom over from Cameroon. I filed for I 130 and it got approved. NVC contacted me and asked to pay some fees. one for affidavit and the other immigrant visa processing fee. I am unsure as to what to do next. Do I need to file a 485? I called USCIS and they told me that sinec my mom is out of the country once she gets the visa she will get the GC within 45 days of entry to the U.S. is that true? Please I need to know what the next step of the process is. Should I contact the US embassy in Cameroon? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!
